The medallion is a necklace that represents the class that I am in for church which is called "Young Women's" We wear this necklace because it means "To stand for the truth of righteousness" The picture as you can see has a torch with a face on it. It means to let your light shine.
Unlike other religions, being mormon we do not wear crosses or anything like that. We show respect by wearing this medallion. This necklace means a lot to me because it is important, and wearing this makes me proud of what and who I am.
